Traveling to Marlton, NJ for Your Child's Intensive
Families come to Bright Beginnings from across New Jersey, the Philadelphia area, and well beyond — often for a five-day intensive week. This page covers how to get here, where to stay, and how we make the week easier for the whole family.
Where Is the Clinic?
We're located in the Elmwood Business & Medical Park at 769 Route 70 East, Suite C-175, Marlton, NJ 08053 — right on Route 70 in Burlington County, South Jersey, with parking on site. Full contact details and a map are on our Contact page.
How Should Families Plan Travel to Marlton?
- Driving: Marlton sits near the junction of Route 70 and Route 73, minutes from I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. It's roughly 30 minutes from Philadelphia, about 45 minutes from Trenton, and about 1.5–2 hours from New York City, depending on traffic.
- Flying: Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest major airport — typically a 35–45 minute drive. Newark (EWR) is usually under two hours by car.
- Staying: There are numerous hotels within a 10–15 minute drive along the Route 70/73 corridor in Marlton, Mount Laurel, and Cherry Hill, at a range of price points. Once you book your week, we're glad to share suggestions that have worked well for other families.
What Does an Intensive Week Look Like for a Traveling Family?
Your child attends one-on-one sessions each day for five consecutive days. Between sessions, you're welcome to stay in the clinic — and if you need to keep up with your job, we set up a workstation so you can work remotely while we work with your child. Our space is calm and sensory-friendly, designed so children (and parents) can settle in quickly.
Before you travel, we handle the consultation and planning remotely, so the week itself is focused entirely on your child. And if you continue into the Home Intensive Program, the coaching that follows your visit happens by phone and video — no repeat trips required for the three-month program, though some families choose to return for additional intensives.
Is Traveling for One Week Really Worth It?
That's a fair question, and the honest answer is: it depends on your child, which is exactly what the free consultation is for. What we can tell you is that the intensive format exists because concentrated, daily work lets our team adjust plans session by session — something weekly therapy can't do — and that many of our parent testimonials come from families who made the trip.
"Definitely worth the trip down to Marlton — you won't be disappointed!"
